The Alcantara Gorges Quad Tour go through the most important naturalistic sites of the park, including the famous Alcantara Gorges, the main tourist attraction in this area. The tour will allow you to see the most characteristic places of the Valley, visiting some suggestive medieval villages where you will discover very fascinating sights.

The 1-hour trail has short sections along narrow street in the village of Francavilla di Sicilia, then begin the off-road mode going through dirty trail to discover naturalistic sites of the Alcantara river.

An extra half-hour off-road so as not to leave in you the desire to speed up a little longer! The ride will go on to take a look of the other landscapes of the Alcantara valley.

2H30MIN*

The 2h30min trail, in addition to the classic off-road between streams and dirty roads, go through suggestive medieval villages to take very nice panorama of the Alcantara valley.

STARTING TIME: 10:30am, 2:00pm since June also at 4:30pm (Reservation required)

*In the summer we suggest you to bring a bathing suit and beach towel, because at the end of the excursion you can stop at the beach of Alcantara gorges and take a swim in the river or simply enjoy sun. It is not planned any swimm during the tours.

WHO CAN DRIVE A QUAD BIKE?

To drive a quad bike it's enough the standard driver licence used in all part of the world. The minors aged with driver license can't carry passangers.

A quad can carry 2 people, the price is refers to the rental of a quad for 2 people.

HOW TO REACH US WITH PUBLIC TRANSPORT

The Alcantara Gorges can be reached by bus from the Taormina bus station in Piazza Luigi Pirandello, or from the Taormina/Giardini Naxos train station *. From these two points it is possible to reach the Gorges with the Interbus public transport. Our starting point is located inside the parking area of the Alcantara Gorge a few meters away from the bus stop.
